I) PAPER PRESENTATION
Topics:
•Energy conservation
•FACTS and HVDC
•Application of fuzzy and neural networks to power system
•Power Electronics & Drives
•DSP & Embedded Systems
•Soft computing techniques in power system
•Innovative ideas related to stream will be entertained.
Rules:
Papers should be sent only in the IEEE format.
Only 2 Members Per Team.
Bring 4 Hard Copies and 1 Soft copy (Only CD) of your paper.
Maximum time per paper is 10 minutes.(7 minutes for Presentation and 3 minutes for queries)
Judges decision is final
Last Date for Submission : 30.07.2012
Last Date for Intimation: 02.08.2012

II) TECHNICAL QUIZ
Rules:
Each team must have 2 members only.
Two members from different colleges can make a team.
Online registration is compulsory.
Judges decision is final.
Prelims will be conducted  online on 30.07.2012.
Shortlisted teams will be competing in the finals held on 08.08.12 at college.
Last date for Registration : 29.07.12
Date of intimation of finalists : 02.08.12
III) KONIG DES RINGS (KING OF THE RING)

1) ELIMINATION – In the eliminations, two bots would be racing simultaneously and the timing of both the bots would be considered and the bots with best timings would qualify for the next round.
(2) FINALS – Survive the brunt of the opponents and carry out the legacy by completing the track. Two bots will wrestle against each other with the last bot standing in the ring declared the winner .
RULES:
(1) Bot should be as per the given specifications.
(2) Once the race begins, for every touch negative points will be alloted.
(3) If bot moves off track then negative points will be allotted.
(4) The bot should not damage the arena.
(5) No assistance will be provided by the coordinators during the time of the event.
(6) No team should make use of any offensive techniques like electric, fire or chemical means.
(7) Guide lines mentioned are subjected to change, judge’s decision will be considered final.
(8) The bot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run, else it will result in disqualification.
IV) Line Follower
Objective:
•The robot must complete the path in shortest time possible.
•In an event where none of the followers are able to complete the course, the robot which traveled the farthest will be declared the winner.

Specifications:
(1)Dimensions should not exceed 16cm*16cm in base (no limitations on height).
(2)Weight should not exceed 6kg.
(3)The track will be a black line in white background.
(4)Width of the black line will be 3cm.
